I am in the editing phase on her emotionally raw debut memoir with working title of "Lonely Girl" about my journey through loneliness and finding connection through community and self-love. In addition to writing and journaling, I am mom to a preschooler and enjoy spending time hiking and baking. I previously had a decade long career in forensic science and am excited to use my knowledge of crime scenes, forensic labs, and court rooms to help fiction writers create captivating and realistic murder mysteries.

I'm currently writing a contemporary romance series under the pen name Sarah Monet. As a Book Writing Coach, I provide writers with a personalized path to publication. I'm the author of "Tackling the Personal Statement: Getting Past Procrastination and Getting it Done", a guide for helping college bound students write their admissions essay. I'm a former K-12/College level educator who has always loved the teaching and sharing of writing.
